Thank you for your continued support of Beast of Reincarnation. The game's third patch is available now! The team is still working hard on additional updates, but today's patch includes the following:
- Added ultrawide monitor support.
- Note: most ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors should now be supported. Please let us know if you encounter any issues while playing on an ultrawide monitor.
- Implemented frame generation options (DLSS/FSR).
- These options can be enabled in the settings menu.
- Skippable events and cutscenes can now be skipped by holding down the interact button.
- Added a "skip" indicator to the bottom right of the screen for events and cutscenes that can be skipped.
- Made certain cutscenes before the final boss fight skippable.
- Note: as mentioned in the notes for the previous update, the technical complications encountered while implementing this functionality led us to introduce skippable cutscenes in batches. Today, some cutscenes are skippable and we expect to finish implementing this for all remaining cutscenes in the near future. Thank you for your patience!
- Charms can now be sold.
- Fixed an issue where upscaling features were unavailable (Microsoft Store/Xbox PC version).
- This issue was introduced in the previous patch and should now be resolved. Apologies for the inconvenience! Please let us know if you have any ongoing issues with upscaling options while playing the Xbox PC version of the game.
- Improvements to healing:
- Healing items can now be used immediately upon taking damage.
- Reduced the duration of movement slowdown while Emma’s healing.
- Fixed an issue where elite enemies failed to spawn in the Fuji Frontier Zone.
- Fixed an issue where elite enemies recovered full health too quickly after losing sight of Emma in combat.
- Note: Fully recovering health after being undetected for a set period is the intended behavior.
- The "Helm Splitter” skill is now usable by default, but can be upgraded further via the skill tree.
- Adjusted controller vibration intensity (PS5).
- Fixed an issue where Koo's presence obstructed the player’s field of view.
- Added a display on the equipment screen to show which Spirit Stone effects are currently active.
- The boss battle in The Great Wall Terraces has been changed to an event battle.
- Adjusted the camera presentation during boss battles.
- Adjusted the execution timing for Counterattacks.
- Attacks from behind now deal damage to shield-bearing enemies.
- Added controller vibration to Execution Kills and Assassinations.
- Added "Set to Max” and “Reset" options when selecting quantities in the Shop.
- Updated Koo-exclusive item icons with unique visuals for easier identification.
- Adjusted Crow-type enemies' attacks so that they no longer generate acid damage fields.
- Optimized the performance of boss attack effects.
- Optimized the performance of command processing for Bloom Arts.
- Optimized the performance of status effect visuals.
- Adjusted collision with invisible walls within various areas..
- Note: ongoing adjustments to collision will be made in future updates.
- Fixed an issue where Emma’s landing position after jumping was misaligned.
- Fixed an issue where text appeared shrunken in certain areas.
- Fixed an issue where using Koo’s “Emergency Medicine” ability via specific inputs caused the actual inventory count to desync with the UI, allowing the L2 button to be spammed.
- Fixed an issue where parrying during an enemy's continuous attack sequence after Koo's FP reached maximum caused the icon and gauge in the bottom right to flicker.
- Fixed an issue where certain Nushi attacks failed to connect.
- Fixed an issue in the Wandering Merchant and Brad "Sell" menus where the "Set Maximum Number" button failed to respond for items with a quantity of 99.
- Fixed an issue where re-equipping a Spirit Stone to the same slot when the owned count matched the equipped count caused Spirit Stones in other slots to unequip.
- Fixed an issue on the Return Results screen where the confirm key failed to respond for players using a keyboard (PC).
- Fixed an issue in the Cleanse Walker departure menu ("Choose Destination" option) where alt-tabbing away from the game while switching areas prevented fast travel (PC).
- Fixed an issue where clicking "Save Game" or "Special Content" with a mouse immediately after opening the Bed Menu triggered "Rest Until Morning" (PC).
- Fixed an issue where pressing confirm on the New Game+ data transfer screen using a keyboard/mouse, then moving the cursor with a controller, resulted in a soft lock (PC).
