A few garden beds had grown some weeds and wayward vines, so with trowels in hand we've been digging and watering and trimming for our next patch for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

- If you've acquired quite the collection of mathoms, worry not. Your sizeable inventory will be just as easy to peruse as those with fewer things stowed away thanks to a few performance fixes.
- One can feel a bit flummoxed when you've chopped your Chantarelles and they simply remain on your chopping board. Now, they'll be exactly where they should be, ready to be cooked into something hearty and delicious.
- There was a spot of bother tracking Young Tom's Trouble quest. This, and other similar quests, are back on track.
- In late-game quests, some Hobbits forgot their manners, bunching up next to one another. They're now giving each other a bit more personal space.
- We've smoothed out the animation for casting your line, so you can focus on fish without the fuss.
- RSVPs can be tricky things, especially when you've got what feels like half the town coming for tea. To make things easier, we've created a brand new button to confirm every guest who's coming over for a bite and a tale or two.
- Hobbits in Turkey will no longer see strange codeword strings for flavours, or for anything else for that matter!
- The ambient soundtrack has been made even smoother, like well churned butter.
- It's easy to keep pressing the Continue and Back buttons during character creation. It's almost as exciting as cooking one's favourite meal, after all. Fret not, doing so is now harmless.

- We've also made it easier to find items in your backpack with new D-pad and left stick navigation.
- If you, like any attentive Hobbit, are inspecting an item in a store and your controller disconnects, you'll now have no trouble safely entering Decoration Mode.
